Datamax-O’Neil offers one of the best warranties in the industry on thermal printers. Our standard limited warranty assures the printer case, electronics, and printhead will be free from defects in materials or workmanship under normal use during the warranty period.

The standard warranty for most Datamax-O’Neil printers is one year. Our microFlash and PrintPad series are covered for two years. All peripherals and accessories include a standard limited warranty of ninety days.Datamax-O’Neil offers several additional warranty options, ranging from extensions of the standard limited warranty to Priority service to Printer Express overnight exchange to a no-fault Comprehensive Service option.

Printer Express - a “hot swap” exchange through a managed pool of customer-owned inventory
Extended Warranty “Printer Express”
Printer Express adds several important value-added services to the basic Extended Warranty.Under the Printer Express program, Datamax-O’Neil will manage an inventory of customer-owned printers which are used to replace defective units sent in for repair. Upon notification of a customer’s failed printer, a replacement printer will be shipped out on the same day. Once received from the customer, the defective printer will be repaired and placed into the managed inventory program and become available for overnight exchange should another customer printer need service.Printer Express assures a customer of maximum uptime and asset utilization.

When added to any Datamax-O’Neil Extended Warranty, every element of the printer (except batteries and accessories) is covered for the duration of the contract – the case, electronics, and even the printhead. Datamax-O’Neil’s Comprehensive Service Option is unique in the market with its no-fault protection policy – covering repairs to printer components that have been subjected to physical damage or harsh operating environments – for up to 5 full years.

This valuable option can be easily added to any Datamax-O’Neil Extended Warranty plan - including our Priority and Printer Express programs.When purchased with the Datamax-O’Neil Comprehensive Service Option, your printer will be completely covered from the day you receive it. You will have the peace of mind of knowing that your printer will remain operational and productive for the life of the contract.In short, Comprehensive service covers virtually any situation a customer may encounter.

Comprehensive Service offers the following features:
